Holiday Traveling

With the holidays in full effect, we’re here to help you navigate all of your travels with the click of a button and a few helpful tips!

1. Do your research

Planning out your trip in advance can ease the stress that comes with holiday traveling. Lucky for you, that’s our specialty! Click here to plan your route and even post about needing a one-time carpool bud in the Events section here.

2. Stay Connected

Be sure to grab all of the best apps to help you survive any holiday curveball coming your way. Log your trips with our app to earn points, download it here. How about needing to find a spot to meet your carpool? Our Park & Ride Locator can help! What about needing a gas station, but not wanting to pay the highest price? GasBuddy can help out with that!  For the last step in those holiday travels, better to play it safe than sorry and check in on those crazy TSA lines with GateGuru!

3. Don’t get HANGRY!

We’ve all been there. Snapping at Aunt June because you forgot to eat breakfast and then dad wouldn’t pull over on the drive up. Plan ahead with some healthy snacks, like trail mix, which contain healthy fats to keep you fuller longer! And don’t forget that h20! Drink enough and dad will have to pull over 😉

4. Plan for Emergencies

We all need a backup plan, don’t worry, we’ve got your back! With our Emergency Ride Home Program, once you’re enrolled, we can help you if you get in a sticky situation! If you’re utilizing Smart Travel for 60% of your rides and are registered with us, we can help you get home in case of an Emergency. We’ll get you a Lyft, Taxi, Uber, or even a rental car up to 4 times a year!

5. Breathe

DON’T FORGET TO BREATHE! The holidays can be a source of stress for many of us. Don’t let it get to you! When you feel the stress rising, bring it back down with some deep breathing or even a quick 3-minute meditation app, like Headspace!

Good Luck out there and Happy Holidays!
